on eliminating corneal blindness worldwide, goes to Bozeman Deaconess
Hospital in recognition of BDHS's efforts with 27 eye donors who provided
34 sight restoring transplants in 2013.

Bozeman Deaconess Health Services has earned the Quality Achievement Award
from Mountain-Pacific Quality Health for the sixth year in a row. The
Quality Achievement Award recognizes Montana hospitals for their dedication
to preventing surgical infections and ensuring patients receive high-quality
care for heart attack, heart failure or pneumonia.
Bozeman Deaconess Diabetes Center Earns National Recognition for 2013, 2010
Bozeman Deaconess Diabetes Center has earned three-year recognition from
the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). NCQA’s Diabetes
Recognition Program recognizes clinicians who have met standards demonstrating
delivery of high-quality care to patients with diabetes. This is the second
time the center has earned this recognition. 3 year accreditation.
Bozeman Deaconess Cancer Center awarded a full three-year accreditation, 2012
Bozeman Deaconess Cancer Center was awarded a full three-year accreditation
with commendation from the American College of Surgeons/Commission on
Cancer in December, with particular citation for compliance in outcomes
analysis, prevention and early detection, staff education and quality
improvements, among other areas. By undertaking this voluntary evaluation,
the Cancer Center demonstrated its commitment to quality care, ongoing
improvement, and public accountability for the care and services provided.
2013 Quality Achievement Award from the American Heart Association
Bozeman Deaconess Heart Center has earned a 2013 Quality Achievement Award
from the American Heart Association. Bozeman Deaconess was recognized
as a Mission: Lifeline STEMI Receiving Center Silver Performance Achievement
Top Performer on Key Quality Measures®, 2012
Top Performer on Key Quality Measures® by The Joint Commission, the
leading accreditor of health care organizations in America, for exemplary
performance in using evidence-based clinical processes that are shown
to improve care for certain conditions. One of only 1,099 hospitals in
the U.S. earning the distinction, BDHS was recognized for its achievements
in heart attack, pneumonia and surgical care. Bozeman Deaconess achieved
cumulative performance of 95 percent or above across all accountability measures.
Quality Achievement Award, 2012
For the fifth year in a row and the eighth time, Bozeman Deaconess received
the 2012 Mountain-Pacific Quality Achievement Award, the highest award
possible. Bozeman Deaconess was recognized for its commitment to ensuring
that patients receive the highest quality of care in certain areas. Bozeman
Deaconess has previously won the award in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2009,
2010 and 2011.

Bozeman Deaconess Hospital has received designation as a Blue Distinction
Center for Knee and Hip Replacement by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana.
Blue Distinction designations are awarded to facilities that have demonstrated
a commitment to quality care by meeting objective, evidence-based thresholds
for clinical quality and safety developed with input from expert clinicians
and leading professional organizations.
