Welcome to Bozeman Health

From its beginnings as a single hospital, Bozeman Health now covers a service area that extends throughout southwestern Montana. Our health system is comprised of two hospitals, several specialty treatment centers, a network of physician and urgent care clinics, outpatient treatment facilities and retirement and assisted living facilities, all staffed by hundreds of doctors, nurses, medical assistants, technologists, specialists, experts of many varieties and dedicated professionals.

At Bozeman Health, our focus can be summarized by our three basic purposes: 1) continue to improve community health through education and prevention; 2) improve convenience and access to health care in communities across our region; and 3) promote quality, accountability and reliability across our entire integrated health system.

Bozeman Health, governed by a community board of directors, is responsible for the flagship Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital, Bozeman Health Medical Group, Highland Park Medical Campus, a real estate development corporation, and Bozeman Health Big Sky Medical Center. The integrated health system also includes Bozeman Health Hillcrest Senior Living with independent and assisted living facilities, an outpatient services center, a same-day surgery center, a clinical research group and Bozeman Health Urgent Care. Today Bozeman Health is the largest private employer in Gallatin Valley with more than 2000 employees.

Bozeman Health Deaconess Hospital is an 86-bed facility, Joint Commission-accredited, licensed Level III trauma center serving southwest Montana. With 200 physicians and health professionals on medical staff representing over 35 specialties, these providers offer some of the highest credentials, training, and expertise in their fields of practice. It is comprised of 26 clinics offering nearly two dozen specialties. The primary care practices were the first in Montana to receive National Committee for Quality Assurance Level III Medical Home Recognition.

Bozeman Health Hillcrest Senior Living, a member of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging, is an adult retirement community featuring both independent living apartments at Aspen Pointe and assisted living accommodations in Birchwood. Originally built in the 1960s, the entire community was completely rebuilt in 2001, and expanded in 2010. The community houses more than 150 seniors and employs more than 80 full-time and part-time staff.

Bozeman Health Big Sky Medical Center offers critical access care to the Big Sky and West Yellowstone communities and surrounding areas. Built as a four-bed inpatient unit, the facility is designed to expand to eight beds without additional construction. The two-story, 35,000-square-foot facility houses numerous services under one roof–improving access to healthcare in a local community setting–with x-ray, CT, MRI, lab, retail pharmacy, family medicine clinic, urgent care, 24/7/365 emergency services with a heli-stop for air ambulance, and inpatient medical care.

We are truly passionate about helping individuals improve community health and quality of life. As we strive to be a leading integrated health system, our patients are our first priority. When you receive treatment at our facility, you will experience the difference right away. Every patient is treated with respect, care, and attention.
