Bozeman Deaconess Laboratory Earns College of American Pathologists Accreditation

Bozeman Deaconess Hospital Laboratory Services was awarded accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), based on results of a recent on-site inspection.

During the accreditation process, CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program inspectors examined the laboratory's records and quality control of procedures for the preceding two years. They also examined the entire staff's qualifications, the laboratory's equipment, facilities, safety program and record and the overall management of the laboratory.

Participation in the CAP Laboratory Accreditation Program is considered the 'gold standard' in laboratory accreditation, ensuring the highest standard of care for laboratory patients.
