Bozeman Deaconess Receives Quality Achievement Award

Bozeman Deaconess received a 2009 Mountain-Pacific Quality Achievement Award, the highest award possible, at the Montana Hospital Association Annual Convention in Billings in September.

The hospital was recognized for its commitment to ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care in certain areas. This year’s focus was on heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and preventing surgical infection. Performance on additional patient safety initiatives and leadership qualities—characteristics of successful organizations—was also evaluated.
