Celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day

June 1, 2010

Cancer survivors, their families and friends are invited to attend National Cancer Survivors Day on Tuesday June 1, from 5:30 to 9:00 pm at Riverside Country Club. Survivors will be celebrated for their strength and courage along with the contributions of their families, friends and healthcare providers.

Major advances in cancer prevention, early detection and treatment have resulted in longer survival. In America alone, there are 10 million people living who have a history of cancer. Cancer survivors can live active, productive lives. This event honors the battle these survivors have fought along with the future challenges they may face.

Free and open to the public, this celebration is hosted by the Bozeman Deaconess Cancer Center and The Center for Cancer Support. Representatives from Seattle Cancer Care Alliance will be in attendance as well. For more information call 585-5070.
