Bozeman Deaconess to Open Operational Offices for Big Sky Medical Center

December 5, 2013

In preparation for the Big Sky Medical Center, Bozeman Deaconess Health Services (BDHS) has leased new office space in Big Sky Town Center. The new offices will provide an operations base for planning, project development, and construction related business for Big Sky Medical Center and are located at 33 Lone Peak Trail, Suite # 203 in the Market Place Building

“We are pleased to add another operating location in Big Sky,” said Kevin Pitzer, President and CEO of BDHS. “This location will serve as our hub of activity until the new facility is completed and ready for occupancy near the end of 2015.”

Bozeman Deaconess is inviting the community to an Open House in the Town Center suite on Friday, December 13, from 5:30 pm–9:00 pm during the Big Sky Christmas Stroll. They will be revealing the newly developed schematic designs and renderings of the Big Sky Medical Center facility and site plan. Hors d’oevres and refreshments will be served.

Planning and design work with the Big Sky Medical Center project development team has been underway since October, and preconstruction planning has now begun. The facility is planned to be approximately 35,000 sq ft and will include emergency services, an outpatient procedure suite, and imaging, laboratory, clinic, pharmacy, therapy, and inpatient beds. The hospital will be constructed on a 7 ½ acre site in Big Sky Town Center. Bozeman Deaconess Health Services has planned for expanded healthcare services in Big Sky for more than a decade and purchased land in Big Sky Town Center in 2007. A Ceremonial Groundbreaking was held on Sept 30, 2013, and construction is targeted to begin in late spring of 2014.
